Dugabin Fm
Type Locality and Naming
Along the village of Dugaba, western end of the Turkestan Range. M.M. Posokhova, A.N. Golikov in 1985 (Golikov et al., 1988).
Synonym: Dugabin Suite, Дугабинская св.
Lithology and Thickness
Slates, siltstone (aleurolites), and sandstones. Thickness is about 200-300m (along the middle course of the Zaaminsu River).
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
Along the bedding, it lies on the Uryuklin Fm.
Upper contact
Schematic stratigraphic column indicates the upper contact as Sulyuktin Fm with erosion
Regional extent
Northern slope of the Malguzar Mountains, lower and middle course of the Zaaminsu River.

Fossils
Contains in the lower part graptolites - Cyrtograptus Centrifugus Bouček., C. murchisoni (Carr.) and others of the lower Wenlock (Sheindwood), and in the upper part - Testograptus testis (Barr.), Cyrtograptus lundgreni Tulb., Gothograptussp., Pristiograptus ludensis (Murch.) of the upper Wenlock (Homer).
